The Work That Reconnects - upcoming offerings
A workshop I'll be co-facilitating in person in Stirling, Scotland (near Glasgow), as well as an opportunity for an online WTR facilitator training!
Hi beloved Earth Weavers,
I want to share with you two opportunities to engage with Joanna Macy’s Work That Reconnects - one that I’ll be co-facilitating with my friend and co-conspiratrice of our last WTR event together - in person, just outside Glasgow, Scotland, next week! - and another is a facilitator training with the wonderful Margo van Greta.
Next week, Esmé McAvoy and I will be co-facilitating an intimate little circle for the Spiral of the Work That Reconnects for a group of friends in Stirling, Scotland. I’m not sure I have many contacts here who would be able to join that from that location on such short notice - but if you happen to want to pass along this info to anyone, please feel free to reply to this for more info! I share more about the Work That Reconnects process in this past post.
I’ve also had the pleasure to connect and experience first-hand the work of Margo van Greta during my time at Ecovillage Findhorn. Margo is very skilled in various modalities of facilitation and holding space. I want to share with you that this fall, she is offering a comprehensive Work That Reconnects Facilitator Training. It is a six-month experiential and interactive online course starting Thursday 17 October until March 13.
The course will give you the skills and confidence to facilitate The Work That Reconnects in groups of your choice. As well as biweekly facilitated sessions, you will join a buddy group, receive integration material for individual study and practice, and focus on designing your own course to bring forth to your own communities!
If you’ve been wanting to go deepen your practice in the Work That Reconnects and build invaluable facilitation skills, I highly recommend checking this out, and finding your part to play in creating a regenerative world!
If you’re not sure if this is for you, or you’d like to hear Margo’s (fascinating) journey to becoming a WTR facilitator herself, she’s also offering a free webinar on September 19, which you can find out more about and register for here.
Additionally you could learn more by joining her Facebook group, Active Hope Findhorn. If I can help you with making the decision about this course, I’d be happy to chat it through as well - just hit reply to this email to chat with me!
“The plain fact is that the planet does not need more successful people. But it does desperately need more peacemakers, healers, restorers, storytellers, and lovers of every kind. It needs people who live well in their places. It needs people of moral courage willing to join the fight to make the world habitable and humane. And these qualities have little to do with success as we have defined it.”
